A dog was posted on Facebook after being found by the train tracks in Bromborough.
His owner was found but he didn’t want to keep him, thank goodness as the poor thing had suffered enough in his short life.
When he arrived we struggled to get a muzzle that had been taped to his head off and realised he was a very traumatised fear reactive pup, after speaking to his owner today we found out he had been abused. He will need time to learn that bad things don't happen to him and will not be up for homing until we have had time to work with him to teach him not all people are bad. If you would like to make a donation please visit our donate page.
We had a great day at Asda Queensferry on Saturday 27th January from 09:30am. Thank you to those who came to visit and thank you to everyone who donated. We raised £232. We are so grateful to Asda for hosting us.

Another youngster rescued from death row. Nigel is a gorgeous little 6 month old cane corso (potential x) puppy abandoned and left to die. Rescues are full the pounds are full.
One by one we are trying. If we had more funds and more foster homes. Loads more dogs could be saved. There is also local pet food banks opened up please check in your area if you are struggling to feed your pets. We would love pets to stay in their own homes.
The situation is just getting worse every day. More dogs in the pounds and no space in rescues. Please consider fostering for your local small rescue. Short or long term this will help

Two newbies who have joined us from the pound Sophie a Yorkshire terrier. She’s in a foster home now getting the tlc she so needs and deserves. She’s completely matted, long nails and her teeth are horrendous. She’s going into the vets to be sedated for all these procedures to be done under general anaesthetic.
Our other gorgeous girl is a Cane Corso who is shocked and bewildered and has been so over bred. More information to follow as they settle in.

Update on Eve
She has finally had a consultation - thanks to your kind donations which has paid for this along with, CT Scan and X-rays. Unfortunately what was found is now going to need a lot more treatment than we expected. Her Radius and Ulnar are not fused together and a piece of bone is loose in her elbow which needs removing. So this will need fusing together and her toes removed to be able to have a special prosthetic to help her walk better and give more comfort. We don’t feel an amputation would be suitable for her due to how heavy she is going to be as an adult.
So this really is her best outcome for a happy, pain free life. Which does mean that what we’ve raised (£3000 1/2 of this paid for the consultation) is not going to be enough to give this amazing girl the future she deserves. We will be getting a price in the next few days but we’re estimating it to be £8000 or more.
I know it’s a hard time at the moment but with over 12000 followers we can do this.
Our son is doing a sponsored skydive in aid of Eve. He will be jumping out of a plane at 7500ft on 19th May. If you could spare a donation to sponsor Calub we would be very grateful.
If anyone would like to do a fundraiser to help. Please get in touch. Or if you could just donate we would be very grateful.
If you can’t donate please share this post far and wide. Thank you.
